Inspired by travels in along the coast of West Africa's Senegal. At Mbour the Senegalese fishermen bring in their daily catch and the fisherwomen sort and sell it in the coastal market. A market employee's seeming dance with the wheelbarrow he had taken into the ocean to wash free of the traces of fish caught my eye and I took a set of photos, knowing that at least one would model for a painting.
